Excused! I managed to escape service (for another year, at least), but it was a bit close. I was called with about 50 others to go to a courtroom for jury selection, but when we got there the judge told us the case had been settled and we were excused. Whoohoo!

Here’s a look at what I’ve been reading since I got home from Boston:
-”Middlesex,” by Jeffrey Eugenidies. This book rocked! I was resistant to it for a long time, but I finally caved to the pressure. It was worth it. It’s the best novel I’ve read in ages.
